PRACTICE- There will be a state dinner Tuesday night after diving takes

Transportation/Parking
- Athletes and
parents are responsible for getting to the pool. Carpooling is available and
there is a Carpool agreement that needs to be signed for those that are. Please see Coach Gingles for form. - Team must
arrive by 6:50 - 7AM: We must enter as a team. - Teams will
enter the CRC via the back (Tech Parkway) entrance, and spectators will use the
front entrance on Ferst Drive.
Day
of:
- -Team Arrival: 7AM
- Arrive
suited up and ready to go – there will be very limited access to locker rooms. - Wear
your tech suit, and bring a suit to wear over it for warm-up.
- Arrive
- Spectator Arrival: Gates will open on the following
schedule:- For
Diving – Gates Open at 7:15 am and remain open throughout the day. - For
7A Prelims – Gates Open at 7:30 am

DIVING – All Diving
Events Will be Conducted at Westminster

January 31, 2023- 7:30-8:15 a.m. 6-7A Boys Warm-Up
- 8:30-10:30 a.m. 6-7A Boys Diving
- 10:30-11:15 a.m. 6-7A Girls Warm-Up
- 11:15 a.m. -1:30 p.m. 6-7 Girls Diving
SWIMMING – All
Swimming Events Will be Conducted at Georgia Tech
Wednesday, February 1,
2023 – 7A Swimming
- 7:30 am – 9:00 am – 7A Swimming
Warmup - 9:30
am – 1:00 pm – 7A Swimming Prelims - 4:30

Prelims will be
conducted in two 10 lane courses. The boys events will swim in the west
pool (by the main scoreboard) and the girls will swim in the east pool by the
diving well). Finals will be swum in one 10 lane course, the east pool.
Parking:
- -GHSA State Meet Parking Info (office.com) make sure you purchase a parking pass prior to the event.
Hotel:
- While this year it was not in the budget, I encourage splitting
the cost between the boys and girls groups for hotel rooms. This will allow for
swimmers to relax between prelims & finals rather than staying in their car
for 3 hours.- You may even
want to consider spending the night Tuesday night before the meet because of
the early report time.

Sheets
- Heat
sheets are free to download at 2023 State
Meet Landing Site
and will be e mailed to teams as well as on Meet Mobile. They will be posted a
couple of days in advance of each session for each prelim session, and within a
few hours of the end of prelims for finals. Limited numbers of copies will be
on sale at the meet for $10 per session.
Food
- The Booster
Club and Coaches will provide snack bags that include healthy snacks, like
nuts, fruit, yogurt, protein, water and Gatorade. - Athletes are
able to bring anything else.
Volunteering:
- A great way to watch your
athlete compete is by volunteering. GHSA is still looking for volunteers this
will allow you a free pass to watch the event. (State Meet Volunteer and Signup Link)
