Parents,

Tonight is the final team practice for the entire swim team! Starting next week, only those swimmers going to State will be required to attend practice (except obviously for those who have their own year-round practice).  Tonight will be our Senior Swim, and it will be fun, but also perhaps a bit sentimental.  Remember, I need EVERY senior to be there tonight and EVERY underclassman to be there as well.  I want this to be our biggest and best practice of the season. 

County Diving Competition Tonight!

Jasmine Negron and Layza Wenclevski will be competing tonight in the County Diving Meet. Wish them luck!

County Meet Info for Friday at Mountain View:

Events have been submitted, and the psych sheet (Boys) and (Girls)  and heat sheet has been sent.  The psych sheet shows every swimmer in every event for all 3 sessions, ranked by fastest time.  The top 30 swimmers total in each event  come back for finals, across all sessions.  The psych sheet will show where each swimmer is ranked going in.  The heat sheet is just for our session (Session 2). Remember there is a morning session and a night session, we are in the middle afternoon session. 

There are two timer slots we have to fill, so hopefully those have been filled already. If not, please sign up!

Itinerary for Tomorrow:

10:45 - leave class (an email has already been sent to all teachers) and report to cafeteria for lunch together
11:15 - depart cafeteria for bus in Arena parking lot (juniors and seniors who drive will drive themselves to MVAC)
11:45 - arrive at Mountain View Aquatic Center
11:45 - 12:15 - get dressed in locker room
12:15 - 12:45 - warmups in lanes 18-20
1:00 - Meet starts
4:15 - projected meet finish

All swimmers will need to have a ride home from Mountain View.  The bus is only dropping us off, so please have a plan to get your swimmer home. 

I will send out info that night as I get it, as to what to expect for Saturday.  We won't know the 30 swimmers who advance to Finals until the very last session.  

County Meet Finals on Saturday at Mountain View

Finals on Saturday will be split into a Boys session and a Girls Session. 

Boys: Open Warmups 12 noon, Meet Start Time 2:15 PM

Girls: Open Warmups 4:30 PM, Meet Start Time 6:30 PM

We will probably need a volunteer timer or two on Saturday, so please sign up!
