Parents, (Email #2 of 3)

We will have our next meet this Friday night at Cobb Central Aquatic.  The warmups will begin at 6:30 PM, and they are planning to start the meet at 7 PM.  Swimmers and divers should be there at 6 to be ready to warm up. Unfortunately at this time, there will still be no parent spectators.

There will only be 4 teams in attendance at this meet, so the plan is for no athlete to have to go outside and sit outside.  The food table will still be outside.  

We may need a couple timer volunteers, but that hasn't been stated explicitly yet.  If so, I will let Beth know. If you've already signed up, great.  

We are still planning on recognizing the Seniors and their Parents before the meet.  Pope has told me he will take his team outside if that's what it takes to get all of our parents inside. The suggestion has also been made to lineup outside the front door so we don't have to worry about any limits, and do the Senior Night Recognition on the concrete leading up to the front door. I think I would rather do it inside in front of the pool, but if you have any strong feelings one way or the other, feel free to reply back to this email and let me know.  I will get it. 

If you are a Senior Parent, please make sure you (or your senior) has filled out the Google doc emailed out by Beth the other day.  They were supposed to be due today.  I need the info to help the kids make signs at practice on Wednesday, and I have to type a script to read on Friday night.  I will NOT read from separate scraps of paper.  

I don't have an exact time for the Recognition yet.  The host coach is going to give me a better idea.  They have actually rearranged the meets this weekend, so Pope is now hosting instead of Wheeler, and some of the other teams with us (Hillgrove and Marietta) may have planned on Senior Nights this weekend too.  I will definitely let you know when I know.
